All About Cut
A diamond's cut - that is, the proportions and symmetry of the facets on the stone's surface - is an important part of determining its sparkle and fire. That's because a diamond's ability to reflect light is so strongly affected by the precision used to cut its facets. A diamond with exquisite color and clarity, for example, may appear less brilliant if it is cut poorly.
How cut is measured:
Judging a diamond's cut is complex, and there are a variety of standards to measure the stones proportions, the quality of its light reflection and its surface quality, including its polish, symmetry, girdle, culet, depth and diameter. Angara has four different grades for its diamond cuts: Ideal, Excellent, Very Good and Good.
Our Excellent grade equals the Ideal cut with its perfect proportions, superb light reflection and highest levels of sparkle and fire. Our Very Good and Good grades reflect most of the light that enters the diamond, offer high levels of sparkle and fire, and are often excellent values with lower prices.
Keep in Mind:
▪ Cut does not refer to a stone's shape. Whether it is round, oval or emerald-shaped, the quality of the stone's cut is equally important.
▪ A stone that is cut to bring out the most brilliance may be smaller than one cut to maximize size.

Gemstones
Want to add some color to her life? A beautiful gemstone is a striking solution. Angara offers four varieties:
Ruby - She'll stand out in ruby's classic red hue. Made from the mineral corundum, the best color is a deep, pure red or slightly purplish red.
Sapphire - It comes from the Greek word for blue, but sapphire (which, like ruby, is made from the mineral corundum) is available in many colors, including pink and yellow. In the classic blue, a strong medium blue is most prized.
Emerald - Treasured by powerful women from Cleopatra to Elizabeth Taylor, the most valuable emeralds have a fresh, pure green - although a darker bluish green is also common.
Tanzanite - the velvety blue of Tanzanite is found only in the hills of Tanzania near Mount Kilimanjaro. Introduced in 1968, a tanzanite has blue and purple crystals, and shows different colors when viewed at different angles.
Buying tips:
~Color quality is key. The brighter and more vivid the color, the more sought after and valuable.
~The better the clarity, the better the stone. Like diamonds, colored gemstones exhibit internal characteristics known as inclusions. In general (though there are exceptions), the fewer inclusions in a gemstone, the more valuable.
~Expect to pay more per carat for a large gem than a small one. Colored gemstones are measured by weight, not size -- in carats, just like diamonds. But some gems, like emerald, ruby and sapphire, rarely come in large sizes, so those are far more valuable than their small counterparts.
~A good cut delivers the most brilliance and beauty.Colored gemstones reflect light, the same way diamonds do. So a quality cut makes a big difference in terms of brightness.

I don’t know. I mean I keep talking about jewelry and the cool fashion look but when my friend asked me this question – which is more hot earrings or studs, I couldn’t help answering whatever you think is. for me fashion is about confidently carrying your look (with all the make-up and accessories). I have a friend who can carry the no make-up look very confidently. I think she’s pretty cool. And I know woman who can carry the celeb look with no effort. So baby whatever you think is cool….. actually is. just be effortless about your makeup and accessories.
