Size does matter but not necessarily in case of diamonds. The dazzle of these stones don't get thwarted in a smaller size. There are more significant discerning factors when it comes to diamonds like cut, color, clarity and carat. It cannot be denied that a bigger diamond is definitely more prominent as the brilliance of the stone reflects well. However smaller stones look equally charming especially in a jewelry piece. A cluster of smaller diamonds can actually lead to a much larger piece of jewelry that is more eye-catching and elaborate, besides being less expensive than their more sizeable counterparts. Above all personal taste and preference plays a big role here. For some of us nothing except a large rock would do, while others prefer lavish jewelry pieces with smaller diamonds generously embedded.
